 Since the 2022 top in S&P Frank DB our resident genius who runs the Danielcode 4Th Seal program for us has been saying that cannot be a final top as it used the wrong time cycle. Frank insisted that a new all time high would be made. In his 2025 forecast Article When The Music Stops published here on January 20 2025 (see ourArticles tab) he tells us the exact conditions for a market top and lays out the exact time that top will appear. This from this week's commentary;

"From last week: Last week the $SPX made a swing low (on the ES-057 exactly at the 29.6% retracement) on a 62 cycle low and reversed back higher. This is the perfect setup for the 59 cycle top coming up at the end of this month. The only thing we now need is for $SPX to rally to new all time highs right into the cycle. The DC signals will guide our trades. Bullish for now.

Exciting times. $SPX enters an important 59/207(3.5 times) cluster cycle top on Friday this coming week. Counting from the closing high we are actually already in the window. With this market now at new all time highs it becomes a very dangerous setup to potentially end this amazing bull market. Get ready for a turn of the market of potentially epic proprtions.  In observance of Martin Luther King Day US markets will be closed on Monday January 20th 2025. As we require a full day of trading to reset the charts after a market holiday the next DC trade signals will be posted on Tuesday evening for Wednesday's trading.

 At this evening's webinar Danielcode 2025 I challenged Members anf guests to test their trade strategy against Natural Gas for the whole of 2016 and to express their results as a percentage of the then margin which was $3200. I then assigned various rankings with 1 to 100% pa putting you at or better than the very best hedge fund results for 2024. Which frankly is patehetic in a year as we have just had. There is a whole aura and mystique around hedge funds which is quite undeserved but we are Futures traders and expect much more.

Mike K is a kiwi artisan and a stone mason by training but he is a fierce, blood letting Futures trader by nature. He did a DC Price Tutorial with me in Taupo, New Zealand way back in 2011 or thereabouts and came bacl in November 2024 to learn to create and trade Danielcode TIME signals. As requested, I took the DC 2016NG challenge this afternoon. 

Traded 1 contract NG2-067 using only DC TIME signals 4/1/2016 until 30/12/2016 so that didn’t include the big run up before or the massive sell off after. 

Results as follows:

Total trades = 84. 

46 wins = $48,590

38 Losses = $23,810

54% win rate

Biggest win $4380

Biggest loss $1560

Average win $1056.30

Average loss $626.57

Average win/loss ratio = 1.68

I used $/diff tool instead of TN replay function to save time but I was honest & ruthless with ambiguity including attributing full bar losses as neither offers trailing stops. Mandatory reverse on entry fail. On a psychological level, at times, it was a bit distressing watching wins turn to losses. I didn’t use FPC nor trailing stops as mentioned, instead, rolling from 1 TIME signal to the next. Therefore, these results could be better.
